Badders Family

I  had the honor of photographing the Badders family a few weeks ago. They reached out to me when they found out that one of their mastiff pups was sick. Jeff and Nicole wanted to capture this crazy season of life and freeze it to remember it always. It was such a privilege to do just that for this family. Jeff and Nicole, you have so much love and joy in your family, it is contagious! Your little kids and your big pups were and are lucky to have parents like you! I share this post in memory of your sweet gentle giant, Dante. May his memory always bring you joy as you look back on the days he loved and protected your family.

MIlwaukee Newborn Session | Bertram/Lazebnik Family

I recently had the honor of capturing the Bertram/Lazebnik as they begun living as a family of four. One of my favorite parts about photographing second babies is recording older siblings as they learn to navigate their relationship with their newest brother or sister. David is such a good older brother. During this session, David taught me all about his favorite animals, he is really into sea creatures. At one point I asked him if he had taught his new baby brother, Theo, all about his favorite animals and his reaction was priceless. David realized that he was going to get to teach Theo all about the best tings in life, like sea creatures! It was so sweet capturing them laying on the floor staring at plastic toys as David explained all the differences between each water animal. This is the beginning of brotherhood- a bond that cannot be matched or broken. Thank you Bertram/Lazebnik family for inviting me in to capture the great love you have in your home, it was an honor!

The Birth of London

Beka texted me at around midnight on March 10th to let me know that she had begun early stages of labor. At around 4am I headed to the hospital. Beka was 4cm at this point and things were progressing. It was her 3rd so I played it safe and headed to meet her. Around 7am Beka's sister and niece joined us and brought Beka some pancakes to keep her energy up and the time to push drew near. Beka has two boys but felt her whole pregnancy that she was pregnant with a girl. Beka did her best to rest through labor and anticipation as she let her body do what it was meant to do. On the morning of March 11th Beka gave birth to a sweet baby girl, London.

London was surrounded by love as soon as she entered the world. Not too long after birth Beka's sons came and met their new little sister. They were instantly in love with her and so excited to have a little girl joining their family!  Other family members who also came shortly after the birth to meet sweet London. The room was filled with such affection and joy!

One thing is for sure, you will never go without love, baby girl. Wishing you a lifetime full of love and beautiful relationships, London!
